Here is the first in a series of skateboard designs I’m working on. Hopefully you will see them available for sale in the future!

Attended the Seventh Gallery event on 21st December. It’s a fantastic event, at which patrons pay $40 for a ticket and sticker. When the bell rings, they are poised to place the sticker on the artwork of their choice!
If you are an artist you can also donate 3 works and attend for free. I picked up a rather nice piece myself, and was happy to see mine stickered in return. If you’re reading this and you chose my work, thank you! I hope you’re enjoying it.

I added to this picture myself.
View from the escalator. Note the old man dressed in the girls’ sailor suit.
Our location – West Hall 1 Ground Floor F-96
Our spot – F-96. Or “F-uck 69″, as one of our Japanese friends dubbed it. Good mnemonic device, that one.
Crowds on the way home.
FINISHED.
My pictures really don’t do justice to the scale of this thing. IT. IS. HUGE.
Thank you again to all our friends in Japan for visiting, and to Caroline McCurdy for becoming a part of my mad plan to be an exhibitor. She features in some of this collection of Design Festa photos, and her work can be found at http://www.carolinealexandramccurdy.com/
HELLO NEW FRIENDS!
My MITN tshirt finally arrived! (No thanks to the long weekend). Very exciting to see my very own work in print on a tee. I hope those of you who ordered one enjoy it.
So I received the information pack on Friday- very exciting, looking through all the materials. Below you will find English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese instructions from the flyer they sent.
Can’t wait! Come and see us!
I was the Designer for a Day for Made In The Now, a website that produces fabulous t-shirts.
As yesterday marks one year since the tsunami and earthquake that devastated Japan, all profits from the sale of the shirt will go to the Japanese Red Cross to help survivors of the tragedy.
So please buy my tshirt design, and help out someone still putting their life back together.
Here’s us on the Design Festa Website!

Hi! My name is Caroline and I am an Illustrator, Writer and Graphic Designer. I'm friendly, drink loads of tea and enjoy many different kinds of music. Illustration-wise, I'm inspired by Adrian Tomine and Daniel Clowes. Checking out street style blogs is a must for me, as is swimming and yoga. I was born in Melbourne, Australia, but have also lived in Japan.
